Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Immerse yourself in a dynamic school setting as a full-time School Psychologist, making a direct impact on the lives of students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This contract position offers an engaging work environment within a single-school district of approximately 700 students, providing the opportunity to collaborate closely with educational teams and families. The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, resulting in about 32.5 paid hours per week. All services are delivered on-site, fostering hands-on connections with students and staff.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

Holds a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement Demonstrated experience with play-based assessment, especially with younger students Proficiency in conducting evaluations that utilize diverse methods beyond standardized psychoeducational batteries Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Strong organizational abilities to manage case loads and maintain thorough records

Key Responsibilities:
