Succeed:
Current and active Illinois School Psychologist certification Professional Educator License (PEL) required Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills Ability to thrive while serving multiple school communities Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a dynamic, mobile caseload
What Youll Be Doing:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with instructional staff and families Develop behavior intervention and support plans tailored to individual students Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Deliver pro-active consultation and guidance to teachers, ensuring best practices in classroom management and academic supports Travel between three school districts, effectively managing your schedule to meet the requirements of a 1 FTE position Serve as a resource for federal, state, and local guidelines related to special education
