9649158-60016 Job Description Step into a vital role providing comprehensive psychological services at a PK3rd grade building located near Des Plaines, IL. This full-time, contract position is an excellent opportunity to support young students, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and make a real difference in an inclusive environment. Youll be the primary school psychologist for the entire building, with support from a bilingual psychologist available one to two days per week. The building is home to several specialized programs designed for students with significant disabilities, resulting in a high caseload and an opportunity to develop impactful, individualized interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois Experience in school settings with elementary/PK-3rd grade populations Skill in managing a high-volume caseload, including evaluations, counseling, and IEP participation Familiarity with supporting students with diverse needs, including significant disabilities Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide psychoeducational evaluations and share findings with appropriate teams Develop and implement individualized behavior and academic plans Support students emotional, behavioral, and academic needs through direct and consultative services Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on interventions and progress monitoring Consult with educators and families to foster a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment Maintain documentation and compliance according to district and state guidelines This position offers the chance to work with a dedicated and caring staff in a dynamic, early childhoodfocused setting.
