Qualifications and Experience:

Hold an active, valid Illinois School Psychologist license Recent experience supporting middle school children in an educational setting Strong skills in counseling, assessment, and special education compliance Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive environment for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group assessments of students emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and supports tailored to the middle school population Collaborate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings Provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and mental health support as needed Consult with educators and families to recommend best practices and interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state policies
