This contract opportunity focuses on delivering your expertise in a dynamic educational setting, where you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student well-being and success. Bring your passion for psychological services to a position designed for meaningful impactworking full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. This assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year. As a building psychologist, you'll have the chance to shape a nurturing environment without the workload of direct minutes.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credential or certification Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology Previous experience within middle school environments is highly valued Strong skills in counseling, assessment, and consultation with students, families, and staff Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Understanding of IEP processes and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning Participate in student support meetings, providing expertise for individualized learning strategies Consult with educators and caregivers to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Contribute to behavior intervention plans and crisis response teams as necessary Maintain documentation and records in compliance with school, state, and federal regulations Help foster a positive, inclusive school climate throughout the academic year This is the ideal role for a compassionate, proactive professional eager to make a difference in the lives of students and their school community.
