Key Qualifications:
Current certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience working with students in grades 3-12 Solid understanding of IDEA, FERPA, and state special education regulations Proven ability to administer and interpret a variety of psychoeducational assessments Effective communicator with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and commitment to timely documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need Review educational records, outside evaluations, and relevant developmental and medical history Administer, score, and interpret assessments related to cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning Perform classroom observations and collect data from teachers, caregivers, and related service providers Actively participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary consultations Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavior specialists, and administrators to support student success Ensure all practices comply with federal and state special education requirements and timelines Complete clear, thorough psychological reports and required documentation within deadlines This is your opportunity to leverage your skills and compassion in a supportive educational environment, helping students achieve their best.
