Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students by providing essential psychological services in person across two sites near Orland Park, IL. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact within school settings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. With a caseload of 60 students split between two locations, youll ensure each child receives individualized support, paving the way for their academic and personal success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology Active, valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement Minimum of 2 years school-based experience Demonstrated alignment with LEARN's Core Values Commitment to student-centered, data-driven practice
Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person services to students, identifying and supporting academic and social-emotional needs Take an active role in school and Network teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), ensuring students are properly screened, identified, and evaluated Consult and lead interventions for Tier 3 students; monitor progress for individual education plans Prepare and present reports, maintain compliance with special education, 504, and MTSS guidelines Document direct services and maintain confidentiality in accordance with regulations Stay up-to-date with best practices in evaluation and intervention; share knowledge through professional development and collaboration Act as a liaison between psychology and other school teams, providing expertise in child development and learning disorders Communicate effectively with parents and staff, responding promptly to inquiries regarding student needs Adhere strictly to all relevant laws and network policies This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $85 and a steady, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
