Job Description

Embrace a fulfilling contract opportunity providing essential psychological services to junior high students in an onsite school setting near Orland Park, IL. As a dedicated professional supporting students and educators, youll help foster a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. The position is full-time and involves working directly with a junior high school caseload.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for School Psychology Experience or strong interest in working with junior high school students Solid communication and collaboration skills Understanding of assessment tools, special education guidelines, and intervention strategies Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all student matters
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs Participate actively in eligibility meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and
RTI/MTSS
