Qualifications:

Hold an active Professional Educator License (PEL) Possess current Illinois School Psychologist licensure Previous experience working in elementary school settings is strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Excellent communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills Adaptable and able to split time effectively between two schools

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary students Participate in meetings for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans Offer direct and consultative support to students dealing with academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and school-wide initiatives for student mental health Provide crisis response and support as needed As a valued contract professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students lives while gaining experience in diverse school communities.
