Key Qualifications:

Hold (or be eligible for) appropriate School Psychologist licensure in Illinois Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting Strong collaboration and communication skills Knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, and special education compliance Organized and detail-oriented for documentation and timelines

Key Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students receiving special education services Review academic records, third-party reports, and medical/developmental histories Administer, score, and interpret a variety of valid assessment tools Conduct classroom observations; gather and analyze input from faculty, caregivers, and related service providers Take an active role in eligibility meetings and IEP planning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: teachers, therapists, administrators, and more Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and school policies Submit thorough, timely psychological reports and documentation
