Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Illinois School Psychologist License (IL Psych License required) Knowledge of current best practices in school psychological assessments and interventions Familiarity with evaluation processes for early childhood through elementary-aged students Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Experience with school-based evaluations preferred Additional state/district requirements as applicable (such as PEL or specialized training)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students in preschool through 5th grade Prepare, interpret, and summarize assessment reports to guide educational planning Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide consultation and support to educators and guardians regarding student needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to foster positive student outcomes
