2026-2027 Job Overview 50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for a school-based position in West Chicago, IL . The ideal candidate will support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs through assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with the school team. Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments. Interpret evaluation results and prepare comprehensive reports. Participate in special education eligibility and IEP meetings. Provide individual and group counseling or behavioral support as appropriate. Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers. Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Provide consultation and guidance to school staff regarding student needs. Ensure compliance with IDEA, Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements, and district policies. Qualifications Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid Illinois School Psychologist Professional Educator License (PEL) required. Previous school-based experience preferred. Strong assessment, counseling, communication, and collaboration skills.
