9685636-47421 Job Description Make a meaningful impact on student growth and success as a School Psychologist supporting a Bedford-area school community on a full-time, contract basis. In this role, youll leverage your expertise to deliver comprehensive psychological servicesfrom conducting assessments to providing collaborative guidance for teachers and families. Enjoy the opportunity to influence positive change while working closely with education professionals within a supportive, student-centered setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, reevaluations, and behavioral assessments for students Interpret assessment findings; create thorough and informative evaluation reports Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing data and recommendations for special education eligibility and services Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, counselors, and special education staff to support students Offer counseling and social-emotional interventions, addressing a broad spectrum of student needs Assist in developing and implementing behavioral intervention and student support plans Play a key role in the schools
MTSS/RTI
processes to promote academic and behavioral growth Serve as a resource for families, consulting on student strengths, needs, and supportive recommendations Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to established evaluation timelines Provide actionable recommendations to improve student academic and behavioral outcomes Qualifications Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Indiana School Psychologist license or eligibility for certification
Preferred:
Prior experience working directly in school settings Demonstrated expertise in assessment, consultation, and communication Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP development Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities Picture yourself playing a central role in shaping a positive school culture, working alongside educators and families to empower every students potential.
