Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Discover an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational settings near Shawnee, KS, as a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple contract positions are available, including a full-time high school role, a part-time placement at an elementary school, a potential full-time opening at another elementary campus, and an early childhood assignment. Each position invites you to collaborate closely with students, staff, and families, supporting the academic and emotional success of learners across various age groups.
Key Qualifications:
Current Kansas School Psychologist Certificate required Experience administering psychological evaluations in school settings Proven ability to facilitate and lead team meetings Strong background in problem solving and supporting general compliance initiatives Demonstrated collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and interpret results for educational planning Organize and spearhead meetings for eligibility, intervention planning, and progress monitoring Provide expert guidance in developing strategies for academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional growth Support ongoing compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements Serve as a valuable resource for staff and families, fostering a supportive learning environment Enjoy working with a dedicated educational community while being rewarded for your expertise.
