Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Essex North Shore is seeking an MTSS Interventionist. The MTSS Interventionist is a specialized support position responsible for delivering, coordinating, and monitoring evidence-based interventions within Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks. This position provides direct intervention services to students, coaches school teams in intervention implementation, and supports data-based decision-making processes. The interventionist works collaboratively with teachers, counselors, school nurses, administrators, and support staff to ensure students receive timely, targeted academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions within inclusive learning environments. CORI, SAFIS, and SORI required. Bilingual preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, School Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field. DESE licensure. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based academic and/or behavioral intervention practices. Proficiency in administering and interpreting assessment data, including progress monitoring assessments. Strong understanding of MTSS frameworks, RTI processes, and tiered intervention models. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse educators, families, and community members. Ability to manage multiple students and priorities while maintaining detailed records. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent-Director or designee may find appropriate and in conformity with state and federal law.
