Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license (as required by state regulations) Prior experience as a School Psychologist, preferably within an elementary setting Strong knowledge of child development, special education processes, and educational assessments Proven organizational and leadership abilities; experience leading meetings a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams Commitment to onsite work (no virtual/remote options for this elementary role)
Responsibilities:
Serve as Team Chair, organizing, facilitating, and leading IEP and eligibility meetings Manage and support an elementary caseload, providing direct and consultative psychological services Conduct educational evaluations and assessments, interpreting data to support student needs Work collaboratively with teachers, families, administration, and support staff Develop appropriate IEP goals and monitor student progress Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment All work will be performed onsite to ensure strong relationships and effective support within the school community.
