Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A dynamic elementary school in the Lowell, MA area is seeking an experienced and dedicated school psychologist to provide full-time, in-person support during a leave of absence. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals ready to jump in and make a difference working directly with students.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid license as a school psychologist (required) Previous experience working in elementary school settings preferred Proficient in conducting special education evaluations Strong skills in providing individual and group school counseling services Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families Comfortable managing confidential information and sensitive student cases Ready to start as soon as possible and committed to on-site presence
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive special education evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines Deliver school counseling services to support academic, social, and emotional well-being Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, and administrative staff to develop and implement student support plans Participate in eligibility/IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Maintain precise and timely documentation of all assessments, counseling sessions, and interventions Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for a skilled psychologist passionate about student support and educational achievement.
