Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced, credentialed school psychologist to support an elementary school community by providing essential mental health and educational assessment services. This full-time, contract-based position centers around covering a leave of absence, ensuring continued support for students and staff during this period.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and current certification/licensure as a school psychologist Prior experience in an educational or school setting (elementary experience preferred) In-depth knowledge of special education evaluations and student counseling services Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work on-site, supporting students and staff in-person Efficient organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive special education evaluations, utilizing a range of assessment tools Interpret assessment results and participate in IEP meetings to develop appropriate student support plans Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students, promoting their social-emotional well-being and academic success Consult with teachers and families regarding intervention strategies and student progress Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive school environment This position offers the chance to positively impact young learners and collaborate with a dedicated educational team.
