9625288-02169 Job Description Step into a dynamic, supportive elementary school environment as a full-time psychologist for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract role is based in a welcoming school community near Quincy, MA, with a schedule of 40 hours per week serving elementary grade levels. The specific caseload and assignments will be determined prior to your start.
Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license, or eligibility to obtain before starting In-depth knowledge of educational psychology, behavioral interventions, and special education procedures Experience working collaboratively on school-based teams such as IEP and 504 Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations in relation to special education eligibility and IEP development Contribute expertise as an active member of IEP and 504 teams, helping shape plans and participating in meetings Deliver IEP-based counseling and crisis intervention as required Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students academic and emotional needs Participate in pre-referral and building-based teams, offering strategic insights and recommendations Engage in professional development initiatives alongside colleagues Support the districts Medicaid billing program as part of service delivery Take on additional assignments as identified by building leadership or supervisors
