Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Travel A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support to students across various school settings in Augusta, ME. This travel position offers the chance to work within diverse educational environments, applying expertise to help students overcome challenges and achieve academic and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and interventions to support students' social-emotional well-being. Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within the school community. Offer professional guidance and training to school staff on psychological best practices. Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Maine. Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse student populations. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to travel as part of the role.
Location and Travel:
This position is based in Augusta, ME, with travel between multiple school sites in the region, allowing for a dynamic and varied work experience.
