Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to serve school-aged children in Fairfield, ME. This role involves providing psychological services within the school setting to support student learning, emotional well-being, and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, behavioral support, and consultation services Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and feedback Maintain accurate records and comply with ethical and legal standards in practice
Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Maine Experience working in school environments, preferably with diverse student populations Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and practices suitable for K-12 settings Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining confidentiality
