Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state requirements must be met) Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families Experience in schools or educational environments preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students, including evaluations for special education eligibility Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral concerns Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide consultations and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and families to support student development Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
