9662810-48846 Job Description Make a meaningful difference by offering school-based psychological services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This contract opportunity, located onsite near Ionia, MI, spans the 20262027 school year (dates to be determined) and involves working 37.5 hours per week. The exact building assignment within the district will be finalized at a later date. In this role, you will conduct special education evaluations, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and work with families and staff to address student needs. Youll also play a vital role in supporting compliance with special education requirements and established timelines. Flexibility is essential; your caseload or responsibilities may be adjusted as district needs evolve.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology required Current approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education Experience supporting special education evaluations across a range of student ages preferred Ability to work collegially with diverse stakeholders Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments and interventions for students in preschool through 12th grade Conduct thorough special education evaluations in alignment with state and district guidelines Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to develop and monitor student support plans Maintain detailed and compliant documentation Adjust role as needed per district directives A dynamic and rewarding experience awaits those eager to support students academic and emotional growth in a collaborative school environment.
