Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives by providing essential psychological services across two school sites in a supportive, collaborative educational environment. This contract opportunity offers onsite work with a predictable schedule of 35 hours per week, allowing you to focus on ensuring positive outcomes for young learners near Muskegon, MI.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist License Completion of all state and district onboarding requirements for Michigan, including fingerprinting prior to the start date Experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and fellow specialists Ability to manage a diverse caseload, conduct assessments, write reports, and develop intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychological assessments and evaluations for students, interpreting results and sharing findings in clear, actionable ways Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students unique needs Develop recommendations and implement interventions that foster academic and social-emotional success Participate in IEP meetings, providing critical input and ensuring compliance with district and state policies Maintain meticulous records of assessments, recommendations, and progress Serve as a resource to staff, offering strategies and consultation on behavioral interventions and classroom management
