Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity as a full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This role is pivotal in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development within a collaborative educational environment near Ypsilanti, MI. Desired Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist Proven experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and IEP meetings Strong knowledge of

MTSS/RTI

frameworks and evidence-based intervention strategies Excellent communication, consultation, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage a full-time caseload

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students referred by educators and families Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional and behavioral growth Consult with parents and staff to deliver classroom-based and targeted interventions Contribute to crisis intervention, prevention, and the creation of safe school climates Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations This full school year position offers professional growth, meaningful impact, and an engaging school setting.
