Qualifications and Experience Desired:

Valid licensure as a special education teacher, school social worker, or school psychologist (PELSB-issued), or national Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification (or pending). Training in nonviolent crisis intervention. Background as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teacher or Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher with experience as a Behavior Specialist/Interventionist, or as a BCBA or Behavior Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct behavioral assessments and provide clear, data-driven interpretations to families, school staff, and community partners. Collaborate extensively with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers to develop Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans. Design robust data collection systems, monitoring intervention effectiveness and recommending targeted adjustments to maximize positive student outcomes. Serve as a key resource on behavior management and intervention strategies within your assigned school.
