Qualifications:

Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent) Valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB Deep commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive service Proven skills in evidence-based school psychology practices—assessment, intervention, and mental health support

Preferred:

NCSP certification/eligibility Experience with MTSS frameworks and collaborative consultation Leadership and facilitation abilities, especially in supporting adult learners Crisis prevention, intervention, and mental health support knowledge Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at building trust within a diverse school community Thorough knowledge of special education laws and compliance Previous success working in urban or multicultural educational settings is a plus

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students Conduct evidence-based assessments and design interventions Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure equitable student support Support problem-solving and decision-making within MTSS Assist with crisis response and contribute to ongoing mental health initiatives Help guide compliance with state and federal special education laws
