Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role as a School Psychologist supporting students across two dynamic school sites for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to empower learners, collaborate with educators, and provide vital mental health services in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist license in Minnesota is required Prior experience within school settings is highly desirable Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills Demonstrated ability to serve diverse student populations Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities Ability to travel between two assigned sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations, assessments, and interventions for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students and offer support during transitions or behavioral concerns Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise to promote positive student outcomes Support district and site-based initiatives that foster inclusive educational environments Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with school and state requirements
