Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist on a flexible contract basis near Saint Paul, MN. In this in-person or hybrid opportunity, you'll help foster positive educational environments, promote mental health, and support the academic and emotional growth of students. Typical hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, with both full-time and part-time options available.
Key Qualifications:
Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent Valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB Dedication to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive service delivery Proficiency in evidence-based approaches covering assessment, intervention, and mental health supports
Preferred Experience:
National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility Hands-on experience providing consultation, problem-solving, and interventions within an MTSS framework Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with adult learners Comprehensive knowledge of crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and mental health supports Familiarity with federal and state special education laws and compliance Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities, with a talent for building trust across diverse groups Prior successful experience in urban or multicultural education settings
