Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Missouri Licensed Clinical Psychologist to conduct in-person psychological testing and evaluations at our beautiful, safe, professional office building located in University City, Missouri . This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist seeking flexible contract work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule. You may choose to conduct evaluations one day per week or multiple days per week , depending on your availability and our referral volume. Your work schedule is flexible. Our report deadlines are not. Responsibilities The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adults , including administration, scoring, interpretation, and preparation of professional written evaluation reports. The psychologist must be able to conduct a Mental Status Examination (MSE) and be highly proficient in administering and interpreting standardized psychological and cognitive assessments, including: WAIS
- Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale WISC
- Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children WMS
- Wechsler Memory Scale Leiter
- Leiter International Performance Scale Additional responsibilities include reviewing available records and referral information, integrating testing results with clinical observations, developing appropriate diagnostic impressions when applicable, and producing clear, accurate, thorough, and professionally written reports.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REPORT DEADLINE
All completed evaluation reports MUST be submitted within five (5) business days of the evaluation. Meeting documentation deadlines is an essential function of this contractual position. There are absolutely no exceptions to the five-business-day report requirement. Candidates should apply only if they have the organizational skills, professional discipline, and availability necessary to consistently meet this expectation. Required Qualifications Candidates must possess a current license to practice psychology in the State of Missouri and have demonstrated experience conducting psychological testing and evaluations.The ideal candidate will:
Be highly proficient with the WAIS, WISC, WMS, and Leiter assessments Be proficient in conducting Mental Status Examinations Have experience evaluating both children and adults Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and assessment skills Produce clear, comprehensive, professional evaluation reports Be exceptionally dependable and organized Work independently while maintaining strong professional communication Consistently meet the required 5-business-day report submission deadline Be comfortable working with individuals with disabilities and diverse clinical needs Schedule & Work Environment This is an in-office contractual position in University City, Missouri. Psychological evaluations will be conducted on-site in our professional office setting. We understand that many psychologists maintain private practices, hospital positions, academic appointments, or other professional commitments. For that reason, we offer significant scheduling flexibility. Contractors may work one day per week or multiple days per week , depending on availability, referral volume, and mutual agreement. Compensation Compensation is provided per completed psychological evaluation and report . Rate of pay will be discussed with qualified candidates and will be based on the scope and type of evaluations performed. Why Work With A to Z Therapy Services?
