Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting student success! We are seeking enthusiastic School Psychologists for a contract role in a vibrant educational environment near Cary, NC. This full-time, on-site position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing an excellent platform to make a positive impact in students' lives while working alongside talented educators and support staff. You'll benefit from a collaborative atmosphere in diverse school settings, with detailed caseload information provided upon assignment. In this role, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Provide direct counseling and support services to students, fostering a secure and welcoming environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Promote mental health initiatives and offer crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with professional and legal standards Key qualifications and requirements include: Active professional licensure as a School Psychologist Successful completion of required fingerprints and drug screen as part of credentialing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Previous school-based experience is beneficial, but dedicated professionals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply Ability to work full-time from 8/24/2026 to 6/10/2027 If you are eager to contribute to a school community dedicated to educational excellence and student well-being, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference.
