Jun 16, 2026 Job Description The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the other members of the special education team to ensure a comprehensive special education program is available for all students in the district. The school psychologist will provide direct support and interventions to students, consult with teachers, families, and other school-employed mental health professionals (i.e., school counselors, school social workers) to improve support strategies, and work with school administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies. This position will begin on June 16, 2026 and end on 8/1/26. The successful candidate will conduct evaluations, attend meetings, and providing direct services for the ESY program.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, developmental and academic assessments, then complete written reports and participate in appropriate special education meetings Monitor student progress on individualized goals and communicate effectively with parents about progress during the ESY program Provides behavior and mental health-based services focused on students' individual needs, such as social skills, individual and group counseling, problem solving, anger management, conflict resolution, positive coping skills and resilience, postive peer relationships, social problem solving for the ESY program
