Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) can make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students. This contract role, located conveniently near Jackson, NJ, is based at a single elementary school, allowing you to focus your attention and build meaningful relationships within one community. You'll work approximately 32.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with educators and families to support students growth. Your focus will include conducting comprehensive evaluations, managing cases, and participating actively in eligibility determination. You will serve as a crucial resource, providing insight, support, and recommendations tailored to students with a wide range of learning needs.
What Were Looking For:
Valid NJ School Psychologist or LDTC certification Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear, actionable reports Background in case management and participation in eligibility determination processes Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for elementary-aged children Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Perform evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning Maintain organized and up-to-date case management documentation Lead and participate in eligibility meetings for special education services Collaborate with other school professionals to develop educational plans Offer consultation and guidance to educators and families Provide ongoing support and follow-up as needed If youre passionate about championing student success and making each day count, this opportunity at a dedicated school site is an excellent match.
