Step into an impactful role supporting students as a School Social Worker on a contract basis. Youll work 32.5 hours weekly as a key member of the Child Study Team (CST), offering your expertise to foster student well-being and success.
Key Qualifications:
Active NJ School Social Worker (SSW) License required Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting Familiarity with CST processes and collaborative teamwork Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Compassionate approach to supporting students and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary support for students social, emotional, and behavioral needs Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and assist with IEPs Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive educational environments Participate actively in CST meetings, evaluations, and the development of student services Offer crisis intervention and support conflict resolution as needed
