This contract position offers the opportunity to help shape positive learning experiences and promote the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of students. Working collaboratively within a student-focused educational environment in Carson City, youll partner with educators, families, and administrators to provide expert psychological services and foster an inclusive school climate.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Participating in eligibility determinations and special education processes in line with federal and state regulations Developing and implementing evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional interventions Providing individual or small-group counseling as needed Consulting with teachers, parents, and school staff to address academic and behavioral concerns Supporting the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assisting with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Delivering crisis intervention support Maintaining accurate, confidential records and adhering to professional standards Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development Desired qualifications for this impactful role: Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related discipline from an accredited program Appropriate School Psychologist licensure or certification, or eligibility for Nevada licensure Solid knowledge of assessment practices, special education procedures, and evidence-based interventions Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Experience working with youth in educational settings preferred If you are passionate about supporting students well-being and thrive in a collaborative academic setting, bring your expertise and compassion to a school community that values your impact.
