Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position serving a diverse student population as a School Psychologist. This full-time opportunity near Reno, NV gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference across both a large middle school and a mid-sized elementary school. You will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and emotional growth of students, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide a well-rounded approach to student success.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Nevada school psychologist license (NV School Psych) Experience with middle and elementary-aged students is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to handle a varied caseload and develop effective intervention plans Comfortable with a busy, engaging K-8 environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and related behavioral interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic, social, and emotional needs Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance standards within the district Serve as a resource for school staff on matters of mental health, learning, and behavior
