Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Service BCBA to join our team. This role involves providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, within a clinical or community setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, applying evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role requires adherence to HIPAA regulations and meticulous medical documentation to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on diagnostic evaluations and assessments. Conduct intake assessments and ongoing patient evaluations to determine needs and progress. Collect, analyze, and record data related to behavioral interventions to measure effectiveness. Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in treatment approaches. Maintain accurate medical records, including documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment modifications in compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies for supporting client development. Ensure all activities align with best practices in special education, behavioral health, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and behavioral health protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking behavioral progress. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management. Ability to perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations accurately. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate approach toward patient care with a focus on individualized treatment plans. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and patient care settings. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a clinical or community environment.
