Independent Contractor Service Delivery:

In Person Blue Sea Educational Consulting is seeking an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC to provide counseling and social work services to K-12 students. We currently have home cases available in Babylon and Amityville, with the potential to take on additional cases in surrounding areas based on availability and preference. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field Active New York State license as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC Experience providing therapeutic or behavioral services to children and adolescents preferred Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) is a plus Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned locations Responsibilities Provide individual counseling to students in a home-based setting Develop and implement behavior-focused interventions aligned with students' IEP goals Fulfill IEP mandates as determined by the Committee on Special Education (CSE) Complete detailed, objective session notes documenting student progress toward IEP goals and behavioral targets Collaborate with families, school staff, and outside professionals to ensure coordinated care Participate in CSE meetings and team discussions as needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable HIPAA and FERPA requirements Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times Why Join Blue Sea?
