Job Description

Schedule:
Flexible (1099 Independent Contractor)
Location:
Onsite (In-Person) Blue Sea is seeking a LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC to provide social work and counseling services to students (K-12) in a school-based setting. Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field. Active New York State License (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) Experience providing therapeutic or behavioral services to children and adolescents preferred. Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) a plus.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and/or group counseling to students and families in school and/or home environments. Develop and implement behavior-focused interventions in alignment with IEP goals. Fulfill the mandates outlined on the IEP as determined by the CSE (Committee on Special Education) team. Complete detailed, objective session notes after each session documenting student progress toward IEP goals and behavior plan targets. Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times. Collaborate with families, school staff, and outside professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in CSE meetings and team discussions as needed. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all
HIPAA/FERPA
guidelines.
