Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology Valid NY School Psychologist Certification Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong skills in assessment, communication, and collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and craft Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plan development Provide expert consultation to teachers and staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports Monitor classrooms, create personalized plans, and guide evidence-based interventions Support crisis intervention and foster a safe, positive school climate Track student progress with data-driven approaches
