Key Qualifications:

Valid NY State School Psychologist Certification (required) Experience with K-12 populations Proficiency in conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and counseling Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and testing protocols Strong communication and collaboration skills Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive initial and re-evaluations for students across K-12 grades Provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic and social-emotional development Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families within the MTSS framework to interpret assessment data and design interventions Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessments Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies Document all evaluations, counseling sessions, and communication according to school and district guidelines Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding students' behavioral and learning needs This role is a full-time, onsite position for 37.5 hours per week and offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the school community while expanding your professional experience in both CSY/NSY contexts.
