Qualifications:

Active New York Speech Language Pathologist license TSSDL credential (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred Certification as SLP-CCC is an asset Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students communication needs through evaluations and standardized testing Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with clear, measurable goals Deliver direct speech-language therapy and consultative support to students, primarily at the elementary level Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate therapy into daily routines and classroom activities Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and state regulations Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
