Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join a supportive educational team with a local school in the Scottsville, NY area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' success through assessment, consultation, and with the collaboration of educators, families, and support staff.

Position Details:

Schedule:

Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week

Workdays:

Monday-Friday

Caseload:

Grades 6-12

• Start date: August 26th

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and eligibility determinations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of student eligibility for individualized services
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create effective interventions and behavioral strategies
• Support students through counseling, intervention, and skill-building sessions.
• Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for students

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification
• Experience in providing psychological services in school settings Skilled in crisis intervention, consultation, and effective communication with students, parents, and staff
• Efficient in documenting evaluations, reports, and managing paperwork
