Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist licensure or certification in the state Previous experience as a School Psychologist in academic settings is preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to provide comprehensive services
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for a range of student needs Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility and planning meetings Provide direct and consultative psychological services, including counseling and behavior intervention Implement evidence-based strategies to address academic and behavioral challenges Serve as an advocate for students' mental health and academic well-being Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and legal requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create positive outcomes for students
