Description Position Summary:
For summer 2027. The Human Resources Intern is responsible for assisting the members of the Human Resources department by completing data entry work and assisting in department projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform various administrative and clerical duties to support the Human Resources team including but not limited to Uuploading paper documents into electronic files in various HR systems as well as other data entry work as needed.
Assist with department projects including research and testing system functionality and documenting new processes and procedures.
Assist other members of the Human Resources department with activities as necessary including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
Help coordinate and participate in the summer internship program across First Mutual Holding Co. and First Federal Lakewood including lunch and learns, job shadowing, intern outing(s), and volunteering.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Qualifications and Skills Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar discipline is required.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Paylocity experience is preferred. Physical Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
This position is performed in a hybrid office setting, with typical work hours being Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM.
