ProCare Therapy About the Opportunity Our education staffing agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a partnering school district in Oregon. The School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student academic success, social-emotional well-being, and positive behavioral outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services. Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to develop effective interventions and support plans. Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns. Assist with behavior assessments and the development of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs). Support crisis intervention, threat assessment, and student mental health initiatives as needed. Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate educational supports and services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations and timelines. Maintain accurate and confidential student records. Qualifications Master's, Specialist (Ed.
S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid Oregon School Psychologist license/certification Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and evaluation practices. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and varying educational needs. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting. Experience with MTSS, RTI, behavioral interventions, and counseling support. Familiarity with special education compliance and Oregon educational regulations.
