We are currently seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in St. Helens, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success in a school setting. Position Overview The School Psychologist will collaborate with students, families, teachers, administrators, and special education teams to provide comprehensive psychological services that support student achievement and well-being. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, student-focused professional with strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive student assessments. Interpret assessment data and prepare written reports. Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success. Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions. Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education requirements. Promote positive learning environments and support student mental health initiatives. Perform additional duties related to psychological services as assigned. Qualifications Master's, Specialist (Ed.
S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid Oregon School Psychologist license/certification or eligibility to obtain appropriate credentials. Previous school-based experience preferred. Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
