Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting middle school students' growth and well-being while serving as a vital member of a dynamic educational team. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity focuses on direct school psychology services at a local middle school, with the chance to provide occasional out-of-district evaluations and overflow assessments. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a total of 35 hours per week and a contract lasting through June 10, 2027. The district requires a strong presence in person each school day—remote or hybrid options are not available.
The ideal candidate brings:
Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Proven experience working in educational settings, especially urban schools Expertise in conducting evaluations and psychoeducational assessments Understanding of and comfort with diverse student backgrounds and district needs Ability to complete and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances Reliable transportation to commute to the school site Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to maintaining a consistent, on-site schedule Key responsibilities include: Performing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for middle school students Providing support and consultation to teachers and school staff Handling out-of-district evaluations and assertion overflow as needed Participating actively in IEP meetings and educational planning sessions Supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs This position offers the flexibility to consider part-time candidates, and the hiring team will conduct interviews via Zoom for a streamlined process.
