Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment and make an immediate impact supporting middle school students as a school psychologist. This full-time, onsite, contract position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with dedicated educators. You'll work with students in a traditional school setting, occasionally handling out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and overflow, all while contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Qualifications:
Active and current PA school psychologist certification/licensure Proven experience working in schools, with strong assessment and evaluation skills Prior work in urban educational environments strongly preferred Comfortable with district expectations and local community Ability to complete all required PA clearances before start Consistent on-site attendance (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4PM; 35 hours/week) Reliability in transportation for daily commute Ability to work the full schedule, as accommodations are not available for hours Available to start as soon as possible and remain through June 10, 2027 Confidence using teleconferencing tools for interview (Zoom)
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychological and educational evaluations for middle school students Provide occasional support with OOD evaluations and manage assessment overflow Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized plans Maintain detailed records and adhere to district and legal best practices Support students' mental health, social-emotional needs, and academic growth In this role, your expertise will directly influence student outcomes and support an inclusive school culture.
