Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a School Psychologist, where your expertise will empower students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In this vital role, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to assess student needs, develop tailored intervention strategies, and foster a supportive learning environment. Your dedication will directly impact students' well-being and success, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. Assist with the development of individualized education plans (IEP & GIEP), 504 Service Agreements, and behavioral intervention strategies aligned with each student's unique profile. Provide counseling services and conduct risk assessments. Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom accommodations and support plans for students with disabilities. Consult with families and external healthcare providers on psychiatric patient care and treatment options to ensure holistic support. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with electronic student information systems for accurate documentation and reporting. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to student care and collaboration.
